On friday night Bratislava was invaded by young English (not British) men. All of them crowded around this restaurant. That's what they get for having the World Cup on outside.

The basilica in Esztergom, as seen from Sturovo, Slovakia. Today we explored inside, checking out the bell tower, the crypt, the main hall, and even the view from the top, outside the base of the dome. Lots of steps! We gave our bums a rest today, but not our legs!

That is a nice bruise. If I could, I'd show you mine which is about 4"x2" and green, thanks to a leaping, twisting, (futile), attempt for a foul fly-ball at Mariner's BP which resulted in the jamming of my leg into a seat and the ball tipping off my glove.
And to top it all off, the M's are now 2 games back and are back at .500. They did go 14-4 in interleague play, though.
Looks like you're having fun. Some good views of European rooftops from the top of that dome! What is it about European rooftops that is so cool?
So do people speak much English? Do you have phrasebooks? How's the food? Met anyone interesting?
